Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or signing in, you accept these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use FxIQ.

2. The service

FxIQ is a multi-tenant financial dashboard operated by LumenIQ. The service is provided on an as-is basis with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy.

3. Account responsibility

You are responsible for the security of the email account used to sign in to FxIQ. Notify us promptly at legal@lumeniq.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not connect financial accounts you do not own or are not authorized to access
  • Do not circumvent the terms of any connected institution (Plaid, Intuit, IBKR, etc.)
  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the service
  • Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any third-party rights

5. Financial advice disclaimer

FxIQ is a data display tool, not a financial advisor, accountant, broker, or fiduciary. All numbers shown may be inaccurate, stale, or incomplete. Verify all figures with a qualified accountant or advisor before making financial decisions.

6. Tax export

The Tax Mode export is a convenience tool, not professional tax advice. You and your accountant remain solely responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of any tax filing.

7. Service availability

We make no guarantees of uptime, availability, or data freshness. Outages and data interruptions may occur, including from third-party providers (Plaid, Supabase, Netlify, Intuit, IBKR).

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LumenIQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Total aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid for FxIQ in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $0 if you have not paid anything.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
